Whether you are buying, selling or maintaining your home, NextGen Inspections provides professional and quality service from the moment you call us. Our certified home inspectors will walk through your home with you and teach you as much as you want to learn. We strictly follow the Standards of Practice for home inspectors established by Florida, the leading home inspection association.

After we walk through the home together, we will explain the general condition of the home and systems with you and your agent. We will talk through any major issues that need to be addressed sooner rather than later. We will also mention the items that you will want to keep an eye on for deferred maintenance. All of this will be detailed in our easy-to-read reports that are delivered via email & text. From that report, you will be able to see the items we discussed, with images for reference.

Exterior

We thoroughly inspect the home’s exterior from multiple perspectives to evaluate the condition of the siding, foundation, roof, and surrounding areas. Each pass helps us identify potential issues such as moisture intrusion, wear and tear, or damage that may not be visible from a single inspection.

Roof

The roof is one of the most critical and costly structures of your home. We will inspect its components—structure, shingles, flashing, gutters, and downspouts—to identify potential issues before they become costly problems.

HVAC

We will inspect your HVAC system, including the heating units, cooling units, duct systems, and filters, to ensure they are functioning efficiently and safely. Our thorough assessment will help identify any issues that could impact your system’s effectiveness and longevity.

Plumbing

We will inspect plumbing fixtures—sinks, showers, tubs, and hoses—for proper function, checking for leaks, water damage, or any other issues that could lead to costly repairs.

Electrical Systems

We will inspect the electrical system, including service panels and branch circuits, for deficiencies such as improper grounding and missing safety features like ground-fault and arc-fault circuit interrupters. This ensures your electrical components meet essential safety standard

Appliances

We conduct thorough inspections of all major appliances, including dishwashers, ranges, and exhaust systems, checking for operational efficiency and any safety concerns. Our assessments ensure your appliances are in good working order, free from leaks, damage, and performance issues.

Doors, Windows & Interior

We will check doors and windows for proper sealing, drafts, signs of water damage, and operation. We will also assess the overall condition of interior spaces to ensure everything is functioning as it should.

Foundations, Basements & Crawl Spaces

We will examine the foundation, basements, and crawlspaces for signs of water damage, cracks, or shifting—issues that can affect your home’s structural integrity and lead to costly repairs.

Attic, Ventilation & Insulation

We will inspect the attic for proper ventilation and moisture. We’ll also assess the insulation levels to ensure they are adequate for maintaining the building’s envelope.

Irrigation System & Pool

We will inspect the Irrigation Systems & Pool of the property to avoid any high repair rates down the road. We will include all our findings in our detailed report.
